  Fly or take the scenic train to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and assist with hotel transfer. Take the day to rest and acclimate to the high altitude. Light walking is recommended.

  Begin your cultural exploration with a guided visit to the Potala Palace, the winter residence of the Dalai Lama and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, explore the sacred Jokhang Temple, the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism, followed by a kora walk around Barkhor Street, lined with prayer wheels and vibrant market stalls.

  Visit Sera Monastery, one of Tibet’s great monastic universities, famous for its lively monk debates held in the courtyard. Later, head to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, surrounded by peaceful gardens and Tibetan architecture.
