Everest base camp trek starts from the Lukla airstrip after 30minutes flight from Kathmandu. You traverse through the forest of Rhododendron, firs, pine and oak in the lower altitude and yak grazing pastures, alpine bushes in the higher altitude in Sagarmatha National Park where you see various types of flora and fauna as well as the wildlife. This national park is famous for the endangered Red panda, Snow leopard and other wildlife.
